SOA/ESB high availability doubts

I hope you can help me confirming/answering the below:

We are planning to have SOA and BPM suite 12c configuration with two node RAC and two clustered apps server middle tier. All Concurrent Processing takes place on the application servers.  The application servers SHOULD connect to the listener load balancer service (not to a specific node).  Could you confirm/correct the following for me:

1) In the above configuration, if a RAC node fails, none of the application servers or end user should be impacted since the load will fail over to the other RAC node.

2) If one of the clustered middle tier application servers fail, the following is expected:
