Grade basis convert vs convert to grade

Hi All,

Could somebody explain the difference between the two options in  Grading scheme table:

Grade Basis Convert: This option lies in the Grade Basis area of the Grading Scheme, how it works and impacts the grading activity?

Convert to Grade:  This option is available in Grade Input area of the Grading scheme, how it works and impacts the grading activity?
