Need expert advice on OCH SDH table behavior during Address validation using OEDQ

Can someone confirm what should happen on below scenario-

We are planning to implement Address Cleansing and validation in Oracle Customer Hub using OEDQ (and Loqate). As we understood, OEDQ will be called as part of UCM transaction manager. We just want to know sequence of this call wrt update in UCM Source Data history table.

So will we have original source data in OCH SDH tables and Cleansing will be invoked while data addition from SDH table to base table?

or

Cleansing call will happen even before data is updated in OCH SDH tables. So no reference will remain on source data?
