We are using collection plans in EAM maintenance page.Some of the collection element values are list

We are using collection plans in EAM maintenance page.Some of the collection element values are list of values with mandatory option. It is not allowing me to save in the quality forms window if i enter the value which is not exists in lov, But able to save the record using maintenance window if i enter any value other than lov value in the column. Please help me to resolve this issue
