Has anyone figured out a way to email rfq's to vendors?

In R12.1.3 Oracle doesn't provide a way to send RFQ's out via email and we would like to have that option.

Has anyone else figured out a way to accomplish this? It's an enhancement request with Oracle but we need a solution sooner then the time it could take for Oracle to provide a solution.
