JOBSVC and JOBLOG tables in Primavera

Hello guys!


I have a question. In Primavera, what's the purpose of these two tables?


Also, we observed that the JOBSVC is getting huge, with over 70k records. What could be wrong? I am asking this because Oracle told me that it keeps records for the last 3 days I think. But in our case, it was storing data since 2007. Is there any automated cleanup that is not working?


These tables caught my attention because we just upgraded to Primavera P6 15.2 Enterprise from P5 (going first to P6 7) and the application was not loading correctly, getting stuck at 38% and after about 40 minutes that it would be able to actually load. We observed that the application was running a query on the JOBSVC table and was doing some more processing in the background, and due to its size we started to think that (that) could be the issue. We proactively decided to do a cleanup (truncate) on the JOBSVC table and the application started loading extremely fast (seconds). I don't know why, but it (the JOBSVC table size) was
