when you cancel a work order from workbench it is not propagated to cancel the associated Blanket re

I have a problem when OSP Work orders are cancelled from work bench.  work orders are getting cancelled but not the Blanket release/shipments associated. The cancellation is not propagated and cancelling the shipment.  Is there any document to show the entire cycle?  How does it work?  OR is there a bug?
