How to answer SMC0110 allow tape swap

Automations correctly responds to IOS000I WRITE ERROR DETECTED as 'N' / NO to the SWAP request.  Immediately afterward we see SMC0010 prompt questioning whether the operator should respond 'Y' or 'N' for the same SWAP request. What is the proper response, please, to the SMC0010? Why is the same question asked twice, once from the OS and then again from ExHPDM - should the operator response be anything but NO to the SMC0110 query? A response of 'Y' seems to have hung ExHPDM, requiring a CANCEL of the product. Should we have automation also reply 'N' to the SMC0110 prompt
