Excluding Unsafe File Types from the Siebel File System

Excluding Unsafe File Types from the Siebel File System by setting:

DCK:Flag For File Ext Check <Y/N>

     DCK:Excluded File Ext < bat,bin,cmd,com,csh,exe,txt,gif,jpg>

     DCK:Excluded File Ext N <number between 1 and 9>

Is the mechanism for Excluding Unsafe File Types purely based on file extension?

Does this check the file content?

User could override this by  just rename the file extension.  eg from .exe[excluded file extension]  to .doc[ accepted file extension]

- Is there more sophisticated MIME type scanning to stop this occurring?
