clone database before resetlogs time?

Hi Team:

We have a Production Database in witch we do weekly deletion of data for manteinence purpouse. By May 15th. we had an error on database server forcing us to do a failover procedure on our standby database, we had to open standby database with resetlogs option. After open the standby database as Primary we created standby on our principal site and did a switchover an continue with our policy of monthly full backup + daily archivelog of database with HP Dataprotector. Now I need to clone database for data reviewin process before the event, May 1, but I'm unable to
