packing a sales order in different LPNs

Hi,

When user is trying to pack a sales order in multiple LPNs, the sales order is getting backordered and it needed to be picked again.

Are we allowed to pack the sales order lines of a single sales order in different LPNs and if so how can we achieve this.

The system details are

RDBMS : 11.2.0.4.0

Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2

Please provide insights on the issue.
