External CTI integration with Siebel

Hi All,

We have the following requirement:

- An user answers a call on an external CTI and this event should open Siebel with the context of the customer that is calling. For this we are evaluating two options:

Option 1: we have a connector for Siebel for this specific CTI

     - In this case we aren't using the CTI bar on Siebel. It's required that the call is answer on Siebel CTI bar? Or if we set up and event handler on the configurations to handle the event from the external CTI to open a view on Siebel it works the same way?
