FTPing a DR CDS

We are hoping to save time during set-up at our DR site. Currently, we SRDF-replicate a gen'd CDS (ELS 7.3) to our DR site. But then the DR SL3500 needs to be audited, which takes a long time. After the DR test, we lose the information on the DR CDS, since replication is only one-way.

The solution seems to be to ftp the audited CDS back to our production site, and thus have ready a fully audited CDS to then be replicated back to our DR site.

However, after reading Doc ID 1013978.1 (How to relocate the CDS to a different location) I am concerned that this may not be as straightforward as we might hope? Would the easiest answer, assuming this would work at all, be to ftp the DR-audited CDS back to the original location of the DR CDS on our production system?
