Generating PDF for Planned PO

Hi,

Recently we got an issue, we applied few patches and it wiped our custom workflow. We used to send PO through email and the PO PDF will be attached in the mail. But for planned PO there is no option available for 'Document Type Layout'. So how to generate the PDF and attach it to the E-mail. We had a properly working email attachment available for planned PO because of the patch they got overridden and we are not able to find any documentation. Can anyone give me some suggestion how we can generate PDF for planned PO. Any help
