Workflow Messages

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to Activate Workflow messages triggered by the change of a field in the Company Master (this is for JD Edwards 8.12 release)

Reason i'm asking, is that we'd like to notify certain people when the Accounting periods are being re-opened.

Additionally, could this message be:

1)Delivered to an outside source (e.g --> Outllook recepient)

2)Shown as a 'Pop-up' message to any user login into JDE (or to a select group of people login in)

Any info or insight on the above will be really appreciated.
