Unable to login FR Studio - java.io.EOFException in GSM Log

We are using EPM system 11.1.2.4 in a distributed environment. While logging into FR Studio, we are getting "You are not authorised to use this functionality. Contact your Administrator" error.

Also in workspace, On clicking Explore -> the page appears as though RAF is not configured properly.

On research found the following,

1. RAF is configured and the services are starting without any issues including RAF agent.

2. checked the GSM host and port settings in Workspace-> Administer -> Reporting Settings and also in the services log. Both matches with the configuration.

3. In RAFramework_Syserr.log, the below exception occurs,

GsmNotFound

com.brio.one.services.globalservicemanager.GSMException: GsmNotFound
