Do newer versions of SVR interface with Rational Developer for i?

I am looking for information about using the Rational Developer for i with the World SVR product. We are currently running World A9.2.1 and during our current upgrade planning are considering RDi licenses. However we are concerned about maintenance of the SVR as it provides our team at least some "soft" version control and reliable software inventory tracking. But several of the expanding development projects require more robust programming and the older SEU does not support those features that are available.

I tried searching for Rational Developer for i in the Knowledge Garden and it presented Doc Id 1488502.1, Upgrade Advisor: JD Edwards (JDE) World A9.3 that seemed to discuss using or considering A9.4. Or will the SVR become obsolete as we move into future versions of JDE World that it mentions embrace more ILE processing (Service Programs and Modules)?

Howdy, Stranger!
