EPM 11.1.2.4 Password Guidline

We are on version 11.1.2.4.  Can someone let me know where I can find a password guidelines for HFM system? where can we enable it if we didn't have any password rules applied to our system? if we create an application ID for running batch job, we can assign any password to it? are there anything we can enable to set up a password guideline for this type of ID?
