JDE Check Printer Issue

We are on JDE 9.1.3 and we are using BI Publisher to generate checks.

the problem we have now is user keeps getting problems to print out the checks. sometimes, it took just one shot to get the checks printed out, them next time, user had to try many times to get the checks printed out. what happened was, after user clicked print, no job gets into the queue.

we enabled log and the only info in the log is can't connect to the printer. i worked on with the printer vendor. we even bought a new printer, but the issue still happening.
