webservice call to quote period where startrownum is a high value

Hi I am trying to make a webs service call to CRMOD ( Quote Period) and in my request the rowstartnum is a high value 1,210,800. The request is made via oracle ODI's invokewebservice and the request just hangs and times out with error message oracle.j2ee.ws.client.jaxws.JRFSOAPFaultException: Client received SOAP Fault from server : Server

if I start the rownum at a lower value like 10,000 it works fine
