onhand quantity available, available to reserve not available

Hi Friends,

I have to do a return to supplier, but when i try to do the return it says qty not available. when I checked in lot on hand it shows as On hand = 1,Available to reserve = 0, available to transact = 0.

what can be the reason for this.

please advice.
