E1 9.1 Deleting Inventory Locations

For our Go-Live we created what was meant to be a temporary inventory location called "GOLIVE".  Now that we have been live for more than six months we want to have our warehouse move the few remaining items out of that virtual location into an actual physical location (such as 0101A1).  We would like to block this virtual location form being used in the future accidentally.  Once all material has been moved out of this location can we delete the location from our branch location master?  There are historical records in the Cardex from the first few months where most
