Invoking the Product Configurator after Add Item

Hi

Our requirement is as below

User will on Add Item from 'Sales Order Catalog Product List Applet - Add to Cart Tree'

After addition of product requirement is to see the Product Configurator view' which is same as clicking customize on the Customization Product.

what are the options available to achieve this requirement?

1. Script if yes is it in Order Line Items Write Record or in 'Quote Catalog Internal Product by Price List Optional 2 OUI' Invoke Method

2. is there any out of the box Signals available to call 

3. Is customization required

3. Calling a Workflow after 'CalculatePriceAndCheckEligibility' Signal (which is called after add item')
