Is there a way to correct ACA 1095-C's that are not in the IRS error file?
It is looking like only 1095's flagged in error by the IRS are picked up by the Benefits ACA Correction Archive Process and subsequent run of the Benefits ACA Transmission XML Generation Process. Is correction processing limited to IRS reported errors? Has anyone found a way to get 1095's corrected that were not in the IRS Acknowledgment error file? We have 1095's to correct that were not marked in error by the IRS, but have been reported to us or discovered in-house since filing.
Also, does anyone know of a way to split up the corrections so that they can be filed as they are corrected? We have over 900 AIRTN500 - TIN Validation Failed errors, and we don't expect we'll receive corrected information from employees all at once. We may hear back from some employees right away, some responses may come in much later, and some errors may require more time to research. Do we have to wait to file all corrections until we have all records corrected, or is there a way to flag records that have been corrected and process a
