Dear All,

We are using EBS R12.1.2...

Receivable super user needs to update transaction dates to be 1/7/2016.

Transaction# 12345

Date: 1/6/2016

GL Date: 1/6/2016

Receivables super user update GL date to be 1/7/2016; but trying to update transactions date to be same as GL date; error:

APP-AR-295137 The gapless sequence XXXXX was already used for this transaction. Please update the transaction type and date to refer to the existing sequence.

1. Does transaction date has any impact when create accounting?

2. How to change transaction date?
