Capitalization of Fixed asset

Good day all,

I have a challenge, and need more clarifications on how this works in oracle fixed asset module. An asset has been fully capitalized in General Ledger through Manual Journal Transactions. End user want the same scenario to be done on fixed asset thereby linking the manual journal created to the fixed asset module. How can this be achieved?.  Thank you.
