Is there a way to Update Item Availability after updating a location on a Purchase Order?

There seems to be an issue with commitments in the F41021 table where updates on purchase orders are concerned.  We need to be able to update primary locations but if there is an open purchase order the system will not allow an update due to the commitment.  If I go into the purchase order and change the location to something other than the primary, the system does not update the commitment to the new location.  This prevents us from being able to update any primary locations where an open purchase order exists for an item.

This does not function the same way as work orders and sales order commitments.  If you change the location on a work order or sales order the update changes where the commitment exists in the F41021 table.
