Script to fix decimals for a DD item

When the company i am working for went live they were not advised about the decimals places for the QTYINV DD item. Now that they have been o nthe system for more than a year, they want to change the 2 decimals places to 4.

Are there any scripts that exist to find out which table is using the data item associated to DD QTYINV so we can SQL the fix?
