Question on ODA Patching process

Hi DBAs,

Patch 21645601 – ODA Patch Bundle 12.1.2.5.0 for Both ODA V1, ODA X3-2, ODA X4-2 and ODA X5-2, and for Both Bare Metal and Virtualized Platform

Per Patch Bundle README file, last step is  "Apply the Patch to the Database" using the command  -  "oakcli update -patch  <version> --database"

My understanding is it would upgrade the ORACLE_HOME but doesn't perform post-install SQL deployment for the PSU  ( I meant post-patch sql actions through datapatch utility). I have confirmed this by looking at view dba_registry_sqlpatch. It doesn’t have entries for the PSU applied in ORACLE_HOME.
