Elapsed months in column filter

Hi All,

I'm trying to create an account report that shows each customer, their start date and then the amount of sales for Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, etc.  So, basically, the Year one column would be all sales within the first 12 months of the start date, the Year two column would be all sales between 12 months and 25 months from their start date.  I have tried a few different strategies and can't seem to get it.  I'm in the opportunities subject area and the satrt date field is a custom date field (not a timestamp).
