Need more details on the bug reported by Oracle for Siebel Local DB Full Get

Hi All,

I went through the document as it has raised a cause of concern for many projects in our organisation.

Development Tools Full Get is causing Tools Server Repository crash / hang (Doc ID 1997653.1) elaborates on how to avoid the issue of a possible deletion of Siebel Repository from server (?) when a Full Get is attempted by Local DB through Developers Siebel tools.

We would like to understand what causes such an extreme impact on the server database.

1. Would like to understand if this is a possible loop hole in the security of the Siebel Application.

2. Can this be avoided through some additional precaution as Developers behavior may not be guaranteed all the time.
