Does anyone knows how to get the Change Reason default for a Price Adjustment in Quoting module?

I set the system profile option ASO: Default Price Change Reason to ‘Manually applied adjustments’ expecting that it would get default on the quote but it did not.

I am trying to find out if this is due to a bug or if the profile is not meant for this purpose. 

Any feedback is much appreciated.
