Exadata QFSDP removes 32 bit glibc libraries

All,

We have applied the Jan QFSDP for Exadata and found that it removes the 32 bit glibc libraries.  I have been going through the patch documents and can not find this documented anywhere.  Can anyone tell me if this was part of a security CVE, or why this was done?
