BI Publisher Desktop with MS Office 2013 and EBS 12.1.3

Is there a version of BI Publisher Desktop that works with both MS Office 2013 and EBS 12.1.3?

I have successfully used BI Publisher Desktop 10.1.3.4.2 with MS Office 2010 to create XML templates that work successfully in an EBS 12.1.3 instance.  However, I am unable to install BI Publisher Desktop 10.1.3.4.2 on my laptop with MS Office 2013 (encounter an unspecified error during the install).  I suspect that 10.1.3.4.2 is not certified with MS Office 2013 and won't install successfully.

On the other hand, I have successfully install BI Publisher Desktop 11.1.1.9 on my laptop with MS Office 2013.  However, when I update my PO template using Word after the install and upload that to my 12.1.3 instance (DB is 11.2.0.3.0), the PO generation program fails with the error "genDoc() : Exceptionjava.lang.Exception: Error while generating PDF :null".   My suspicion is that BIP 11.1.1.9 is not valid to use with my EBS version.
