Siebel Database Size Increase after upgrade

Dear Support,

I have installed Siebel 15.0 and upgraded to 15.6, Incremental Repository Merge has also been done. But i have observed that the database size has been increased from 18GB to 33GB after the upgrade.


The IRM activity was successful and also the application is also working fine without any issues.


Is some wrong with the database or it is predictable that the database size would increase?


Could you kindly clarify my doubt.
