Which api is used to generate revenue account for invoice distribution ?

In 12.1.3 , which AR api is used to generate the revenue account for invoice distribution via Auto Accounting process?

Also , are there any api's provided by AR which can be used for customization so that different account can be picked by during Auto Accounting process ?
