HUGE XLA tables

We have three XLA tables in particular that are growing at a very quick rate.
XLA_AE_SEGMENT_VALUES - over 470 million rows.
GMF_XLA_EXTRACT_LINES - over 680 million rows.
XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS - over 730 million rows.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Does anyone have a supported way to safely purge these tables?
