Examining Data to Determine Data Loss Due to Failover

I do not have this situation but we are trying to understand it. If I failover DataGuard due to loss of Primary Data Center, what do I have that I can examine which will allow me to determine the last SCN and transaction date that was transferred and applied to my Standby before failure. Do the tools exist with Enterprise Server? Do I need additional tools? Will I be examining redo logs, other?
