Flat file to AS400 server

HI ,

We have a requirement where in we need a write to file to AS400 enterprise server location to allow banks to pick up the file and process the payments

We are defining the location in processing options of our customized report .

somehow we are not able to write the file to server

can someone please help me with how to give location or any read write rights etc

We are E1 9.1.4.4
