Can I use WMS Putaway Rules for a PO Receipt with Direct routing?

Hi All,

We are using EBS R 12.2.5 version and we are validating the WMS Modules and its usage.

In our organization, we primarily use Direct routing while performing receipts against a PO, the reason is to avoid Accumulation of Open Receiving transactions at the end of the month.

We are testing the usage of WMS rules, we have defined a simple WMS rule to putaway to a subinventory and a locator

We create a PO with direct routing and then using MSCA we try to receive and deliver against that PO in one single step.

While it does provide us the ability to perform receipt and deliver in one step, our expectation is, that subinventory and locator values should default based on the WMS rules we have setup and that is not happening.
