IP 2016 - Login page comes up but not accessible

Hi,

We have upgraded our application to IP 2016 , login page is coming up after upgrading enterprise,gateway & web servers and executing IRM however the login button is not responding. I could see the below error in inspect element :

Uncaught ReferenceError: SWEExecuteLogin is not defined

Later I realized that I did not reconfigure SWSE which is recommended for IP 2016 but my question is if I can see the login page (which can say eapps.cfg file is working fine) , is it necessary to reconfigure SWSE now ? Or the above issue related to something else ? Help please.
