How To Delete Reservations That Are Not Relieved When Sales Order is Canceled or Closed?

Hi All,

How To Delete Reservations That Are Not Relieved When Sales Order is Canceled or Closed? Since the inventory got stuck in the reservation for closed sales order I am unable to use the stock for other sales orders.

I am aware of i2471362.sql to clean-up orphaned rows in the MTL_DEMAND and MTL_RESERVATIONS tables. Also I am aware of the Note 1322105.1 in metalink.

Manually I am unable to delete the reservation from sales order as well as from reservations form.

I am looking for a quick workaround for this like creating a miscellaneous receipt or something like that. For Misc Receipt how to nullify this effect I mean any counter transactions to nullify this effect after the reservation problem is solved.
