Serial reprocessing through SFM failed

We have recently marked few Items as IB trackable and with the help of Oracle suggested API we are rehooking the serials to XNP MSGS table. Upon processing we ended up with below error for few of the serial numbers. I dont see any document available for this error to anlayze. Any help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.


"You have provided a Expired Instance Status 1. The Instance cannot be created with an Expired Status"


We are using 'csi_inv_txn_hook_pkg.postTransaction' API
