UK PAY: BACS in XML Format
The current format of the BACS output is in text. As per our customer requirement, the output is required in excel format. One way to achieve the output in excel is to generate the report in XML format which can be then viewed through excel.
The functionality required is available for other reports. E.g. Statutory Sick Pay, RTI - Full Payment Submission (FPS) - Additional Reporting, RTI - Full Payment Submission Process (FPS) 2016/17.
This would save us hours each month if this was available in Excel format. This is vital for our disbursement needs and helps us to become more efficient in the way we submit information to our external customers.
