Non-Stock Inventory - Use P4101 versus P4101N?

Hi Group Members,

P4101N is supposed to be to update non-stock inventory. However, one can't update price and cost if an item is updated through P4101N. Let me now place two scenarios

What is the true utility of P4101N?
