Siebel Promotions - Buy 1 get 1 free

Has anyone ever tried to set a promotion where you buy 1 item and get another free? I tried several options but it discounts all the items to 100%. The work around is to set the products at a discount at 50% but that is not what i am looking for.

Any help would be appreciated.
