R083800 recalculation - will new records be created if new plan rate records are entered with new ef
Here is my scenario:
Plan DENTAL with Option EE Only has an option rate of $100.00 with effective dates 6/1/15-5/31/16. A new record is entered with effective dates 6/1/16-5/31/17, but the rate is the same - $100. If R083800 is run to recalculate option costs, will the existing DBA effective 6/1/15 be stopped and another $100 DBA effective 6//16 be created? Or will there be no change - the system sees the $100 effective 6/1/15, determines that no rate change has occurred, and do nothing?
I suspect no changes will be made, but the HR department is expecting it to. I just want to confirm that it is working as designed...thank you!
