Job History Output Blocked by Browser

We plan to start using BI Publisher in the near future, but discovered a problem when trying to access the output link for a report job under History.   The link is being blocked by the browser and the output content appears to be an http page being called by an https page.   For Firefox, if we click on the "lock" icon (at the address window) we get a message that "Firefox has blocked parts of the page that are not secure".   To temporarily get around the problem we can select  "Disable the protection for now".   Similarly on Chrome, we can
