Question about cluster BIP11g

Hi Experts

Could you please share me your advice on the following question.

Now we want to create cluster BIP11g,and  I want to confirm something about IP setting for cluster BIP

I review the doc below

3.4 About IPs and Virtual IPs

It seems that

1.when build cluster environment,then we can not use physical IP,we need to use virtual IP

2.If there are two managed servers,then we need to set virtual IP for Admin server and each managed servers.

Are my understanding above correct,if no,could you please tell me what I should pay attention on IP setting
