DB tuning suggestion

We are using oracle database version 11.2.0.2

The db most of the query are running slow. Attached is the awr report. I have suggested the sql tunning to the developers. But they are saying it will be very complicated to re-deploy the modified SQL if they have to do change. So change for SQL statement is out of question. By looking at AWR report, the top 5 waiting event is direct path read and CPU and it all stated as user I/O. I think I can go by increase the PGA to 1G maybe. By looking at the shared pool advise, looks like even if I double
